Sorry for lack of posts….and new t-shirts.  Katydid’s spring collection is not released yet and we are waiting for their new line.  BUT, we have just got in a batch of Peace Love Mom shirts and we are in love.  They are amazing.  They are soft and beautiful.  They advertise “A Celebration of Motherhood” and they truly are.  We know you love them.  We think with Katydid and Peace Love Mom shirts we will be able to keep a nice selection of t-shirts for our t-shirt loving fans.

Fall is finally here and with it comes cooler temps out side.  I have just ordered 4 sets of long sleeve Katydid t-shirts that I know that you will love.  My wife is already begging for them and they will not be in until tomorrow.  I will have them in Bayou Crafters Mall by Wednesday evening at the latest.  Possibly tomorrow evening.  Thanks for checking us out.

Our Katydid shirts are starting to catch on and sell. It has taken 3 or 4 weeks for people to find out about us. I ordered 2 styles of shirts today to add. I hope to have them in Bayou Crafters Mall and available by Wednesday. Thursday at the latest. I know you will love them. I will post pictures if them in the next day or two.

I got our Katydid display set up at Bayou Crafters Mall yesterday morning.  Very relieved to finally get the shirts set up and ready.  It was a long week leading up to yesterday.  I had to convert an old dresser into shelves for my display.  After getting shelves in it, I had to paint and distress it.  I think the results are great.  I then drew up 4 pictures for my display.  One with Katydid logo, one with price, one as a tribute to mom, and one as a tribute to my Shannon.  I then only needed a mannequin.  Being a DIYer at heart, I looked around on the internet for ideas and ran up on an interesting solution.  Get Shannon to put on an old t-shirt, wrap her up with duct tape,  cut it off, and stuff it with newspaper.  It worked pretty good.  Let us know what you think.

We are very excited to be able to make Katydid T-Shirts available at Bayou Crafters Mall in West Monroe Louisiana.  They will be in the shop and available Saturday, May 23rd.  Just check out the pictures to see what we are so excited about.  We know that you will love them as much as we do.  We will use this site, along with facebook, MySpace, and Twitter, to let you know when we get new shirts in and what they look like.  Links are in my blog roll to the right.
